Ed Westwick has confirmed that he has future plans for children and marriage with girlfriend Amy Jackson.

The Gossip Girl actor, 36 - best known for his role as Chuck Bass - said 'yes! One hundred per cent' when he was asked if marriage and children were on his agenda.

He explained that because of his parent's perfect marriage, he now idolises their relationship and hopes to have the same kind of support in his own.

Ed is currently dating model and actress Amy, 31, and the doting have looked besotted on social media ever since they went public about their relationship.

When asked about the prospect of marriage and children in an interview with Hello! magazine, Ed said: 'Yes! One hundred per cent. I grew up in a wonderful household where my mum and dad were married.

'My parents loved each other fiercely right up to the end. I idolised them and their relationship. Just that kind of support!'

The actor went on to explain that his father died 10 years ago and his mother passed away in September 2022.

Ed's mother died from Mesothelioma - a type of cancer caused by asbestos.

The star said while he cannot talk to his parent, he knows she is still there with them.

'I remember her hands or her shoulders, which I'd touch. I have her voice notes and clips of videos of her', he added.

'I miss her enormously, but I try to think about the future to stay positive, like marriage and kids and all of that.'

Rumours about Ed and Amy began circulating in February 2022, but they reportedly started seeing one another romantically in December 2021.

They met at Saudi Arabia's Red Sea International Film Festival last December - where they were snapped chatting together at a screening during the closing ceremony.

Amy has starred in a string of Indian films, predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages - after auditioning for one in London in a twist of fate.

She was previously in a relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou, with the pair getting engaged in January 2019 and welcoming a son, Andreas, four, that September.

They broke things off in 2021 before her relationship with Westwick began later that year.

Meanwhile, Westwick previously dated South African model and influencer Tamara Francesconi for two years before also separating in 2021.
